Washington School of Law awards a doctorate in taxation. For lawyers, this is designated the Doctor of Juridical Science in Taxation. (S.J.D. or J.S.D.) For accountants, this degree is designated Doctor of Taxation (D.Tax) or Doctor of Philosophy in Taxation. (Ph.D in Taxation) This is a professional vocational degree available only to licensed Attorneys at Law, Certified Public Accountants, and Enrolled Agents.
