As far as the self proctorial notes go, should I limit them to one page per session? If I submit all of my detailed notes, I could end up with about 20 sheets of notes.

Hi Jim,
Take as many notes as you'd like. The purpose of the notes is two-fold. First, to provide evidence to the school that the student has personally viewed the lectures and participated in the learning of the materials presented. Second, to provide the student with additional study materials and reference when preparing for exams, and particularly in regards to courses 601-605, the Final Comprehensive Exam.
The volume of notes students take varies considerably. Oftentimes, students will send in 50 or more pages of proctorial notes, sometimes they are typed, sometimes they are handwritten. It truly depends on the student.
One last thing that is important to remember is that the self-proctorial notes can have a positive impact on the course final grade and can provide the student with up to 5 additional percentage points based on the volume, neatness, providing text references, and page numbering, and overall presentation of the notes.
If you have any questions about self-proctorial notes, please feel free to contact the school at 866-446-4336, or email

Good luck on your continuned studies!
