Note: Washington Institute accepts applications year-round. With minimal preparation, and our simple, efficient enrollment process, students can apply for admission and order courses the same day.
Apply Online. It will only take a few moments. Please follow the steps below:
- Contact the Admissions Office if you have any questions: 866-446-4336
- Collect Information and Documents. Make sure you have the needed information. Previous colleges and dates attended, dates of degrees, etc. Licensing information, including license number, name of licensing board, and contact information for licensing board. Additional information regarding background experiences, training, occupational licenses, awards, honors, scholarships, professional certificates, professional associations, or other information that gives evidence of your ability to complete the studies for which you are applying. Official Transcripts must be provided within 60 days of acceptance.
- Complete the Application. Our Application is a simple, fillable .pdf document. Enter all applicable information directly in to the document, print and sign, or print the blank form and enter all information as legibly as possible, print and sign. - Payment information for the enrollment fee is included on the Application, or can be paid by check or you may call the school. The application is considered incomplete until the Enrollment fee has been received and processed.
- Final Note. Once the signed Application and $50 Enrollment Fee have been received, the application will be reviewed. Upon acceptance, a New Student packet will be mailed to you with a copy of your Acceptance letter and additional instructions on how to proceed with ordering courses, as well as other useful information about the school.
- Apply by Phone. Call the Admissions office at 866-446-4336. There is someone available to answer your call between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, U.S. Mountain Standard Time. You are able to leave a message, and someone will return your call as soon as possible. You may also send an e-mail and indicate that you wish to apply for admission and someone will contact you as soon as possible. In any case, please provide as much contact information as possible. Specifically, your name, phone number, and best time to contact you.
Note: For Non-English Degrees: Applicants with a non-English degree must provide a certified English translation of the degree and the degree must be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or J.D. degree that follows our admission requirements. In addition, applicants whose native language is not English and who have not earned a degree from an institution where English is the principal language of instruction must have received a minimum score of 620 on the paper-based Test of English or a minimum 105 on the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 875 on Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) OR must be a citizen of the U.S. and have been employed in a tax related field for a minimum of five years. Verification of citizenship and employment must be submitted with the completed Application.
